A Gospel-Driven Community

Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

RUF is a community for students at UW--Christians, skeptics, and anyone in between--to explore the light and life of Jesus and what that means for ourselves, our friends, and our campus.

We long to be experienced as a community that is a resting place for the weary, a safe place for the searching, and a nourishing place for the hungry, and would love for you to join us.

Gather

Join us weekly for Fellowship Night on Wednesday nights at 7pm in Union South, where we spend time each week singing songs, opening Scripture with Campus Minister Cam Brown, playing games, and connecting with new friends. In addition, keep your eye out for various social activities, throughout the semester that are posted on social media.

Contact Cam Brown (cam.brown@ruf.org) for more info.

Grow

We offer multiple bible studies throughout the week! Learn more here and follow us on instagram for more details.

Cam Brown

Cam is originally from Tampa, Florida. He went to the University of Virginia for undergrad, where RUF had a profound impact on him as a student. After graduating in 2015, he worked for RUF at Rhodes College for 2 years. He then moved to St. Louis to attend Covenant Theological Seminary and graduated in 2021 with a Masters of Divinity Degree.  That summer he was called to Madison to become the new Campus Minister at UW.  Cam met his wife Ray in seminary, where Ray earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. Cam and Ray love exploring Madison with their son Ollie and two dogs CĂș and Poppy. Ray currently works as a counselor in town, and loves to read, paint, and eat spicy Thai curry.  Cam loves EPL Soccer, playing board games, cooking, and finding a good deal.

Ellie Hubach

Ellie Hubach grew up in Riverside, CA and attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she received a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She joined RUF at Berkeley and through it grew in her understanding of the love and grace of God through Jesus and began to love His body the church. Ellie loves trying new hobbies, and enjoys anything from pool and ping pong to reading and knitting. She is excited to move to Madison and get to know and love the city and campus!

The Presbyterian Church in America

RUF is the official campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  This means that we identify with the theological tradition arising from the protestant reformation and the system of doctrine set down in an historical document called The Westminster Confession of Faith.

Resurrection Presbyterian Church

RUF at UW is partnered with Resurrection Presbyterian Church, a congregation planted in urban and university Madison in 2016.  For more information on Resurrection Madison, visit the website resurectionmadison.com
